Today I went on one of my semi regular trips to the aerodrome. For the first time ever I parked on the side of the freeway and waited for the call. Fortunately I was not penalised or anal-ysed.
Another wedding present. This clock was made in the 1910s or 1920s by the Ansonia Clock Co., New York City, United States of America. It worked quite well until at 029hrs I decided I didn't like the way it chimed. I'm sure it will continue to work well in its new home.
Today is Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday, Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day). I got these beads when I was at Mardi Gras in New Orleans in 2002. They are a constant reminder of some of the loosest days I have ever lived.
Minimal research says it may be a boutonnière, whatever it is I wore it on my jacket in the wedding yesterday and it was still attached to the suit when I was putting it away.
